Golden Turmeric Mylk

Gluten free, dairy free, vegan, paleo

Ingredients

1/4 cup Pure Food Essentials Organic Turmeric powder 

1 cup So Delicious Unsweetened Cashew Milk 

1/2 tsp Honest to Goodness Organic Coconut Oil (or Sol Ghee for non-vegan option)

1/4 tsp Pure Foods Essential Organic Cinnamon powder

Wollombi Valley Raw Honey to taste

Method

Bring 1/2 cup of water to a low simmer & mix in turmeric powder, stiring until it makes a thick paste.  Stir constantly for approx 5-8 mins.  Add more water to get a smooth paste consistency. Mix 1/2 teaspoon of paste with 1 cup of cashew milk & simmer over a medium heat for 5 mins.  Stir in coconut oil/ghee, cinnamon & honey.

Notes

Swap the cinnamon for ginger or black pepper or add all 3!  Swap the honey for maple syrup or brown rice syrup.

Store the remaining turmeric paste in your fridge for up to 2 weeks.
