Hazelnut & Vanilla Chai Latte


Ingredients

1/2 cup of brewed Pukka Vanilla Chai Tea
¾ cup Pacific Foods Hazelnut non-dairy milk
1 tbsp Honest to Goodness Organic Maple Syrup
pinch of Pure Foods Essentials Organic Cinnamon
pinch of Gourmet Organic Herbs Vanilla Powder

Cinnamon Sugar: Mix together 1/2 cup Organic Mountain Raw Sugar with 2 tbsp Pure Foods Essential Organic Cinnamon.  

Method

In a medium-size saucepan, add hazelnut milk, maple syrup, cinnamon & vanilla powder & bring to a slight boil (the sides of the milk will begin to bubble), stirring often. Once the sides of the milk begin to bubble, remove the pan from heat. Using a hand blender (this is the trick to a frothy homemade latte!), blend the milk until it's frothy.  Add it to the brewed vanilla chai tea & top with Cinnamon Sugar. Serve warm.

Coffee Machine Instructions:  Froth the milk until warm & silky.  Pour ½ cup of chai tea in a mug. Slowly add the warm, frothy milk to the tea. Sprinkle the top of the chai latte with cinnamon sugar.  

Notes:  Swap sugar for rapadura or coconut sugar.  Try almond or cashew milk for a different nutty flavour
